This is insanely corrupt. Have you tried turning this into a pdf and asking chatgpt for advice?
It reminds me a bit of how my silk studio landlord retaliated against me for defending my legal rights against a certain rent increase and I ultimately ended up out of the space due to his harassment. The world is corrupt. This needs to be escalated/reported and it sounds like quite a few people should be losing their jobs.
I'm sorry you were victim to their lack of integrity. This is wrong.
Sara thank you for always reading and for your support! AI has been so supportive of me this entire time and helped me with drafts and such. I have to prompt it all the time: help this sound professional (and not full of rage lol!) I'm bummed to hear that you've had a similar experience. the world seems very "cover your ass even if you're wrong" vs. "let's do the right thing" - this whole situation has really rocked my faith in humanity but I'm trying not to let it crush my spirit. xoxo
I’m so sorry to hear this Kendall! There’s a special type of hell that is getting wrongly caught up in petty people’s bs in the academic world. The rules just seem to be arbitrary, different and made up. It’s good you’re out of it even though I’m sure there’s grief, mourning and anger that comes with it. I hope you get some justice in the end. Absolute wild.
Michelle thank you so much for reading & your kind comment. I have been so swept up by the rage that I haven't yet even processed the grief yet but it looms large. I know this is just the universe telling me that this wasn't my path but damn did it have to be so brutal?! apprecaite your support <33
lol my parents used to tell me that all the time growing up so i was convinced that's what i should do with my life. then i realized going to law school because you are good at arguing is not a compelling argument haha. but I don't disagree. there will be no more grad school adventures in my future!
You will make a fantastic lawyer! There are states (CA, for one), where you do not have to go to law school. You do a 4-year internship under the tutelage of a judge or an attorney. You’d kill it! 💪🏽
