I don't think this is a silly little blog. I think you are doing some brave and hard work and should be proud of it. No one has all of the answers. Besides, the questions change. :)

It is really hard to put yourself out there.

I had a situation about two years ago where something I wrote -- something I believed to be innocuous -- led to a complete falling out with a friend. It was pretty devastating and is honestly the reason why I don't post much anymore. Eventually I'll open up again, but it was a such a terrible feeling being misunderstood.

Friendship fallout from a blog post (especially a seemingly innocuous one) is devastating. Thank you for sharing your experience - I'm not happy that it also happened to you but it does make me feel less alone. For what it's worth, I'd love to read more of what you have to say but I understand the reservation.
