I write monthly personal recaps for myself, mainly filled with cute pictures of my son, but I figured it would be fun to write public recaps about what’s captured my attention each month.
Co-signing the lawns should be illegal take. Been talking w friends in the neighborhood a lot these days about how it's dumb that our kids don't play with each other more because they're all in their own little lawn rather than shared spaces. Our second-floor apartment doesn't have a lawn, btw.
Oh and since you asked: I felt it goes without saying but guess it doesn't: congrats on #2!
I was honestly thinking lawns should be banned only from a water conservation standpoint. I heard lawns originated as a way to show wealth because you could afford to keep a completely useless crop. That's how they feel here, especially in the front yard - no one is using them! But to your point about kids not playing anymore, I definitely agree with that. The burb kids are very separated. Glad your city boys are playing with other kids in parks!

Sorry to offend! I don't think anyone is snarking about you and even the "snark" podcast episode on the c&c founder wasn't snarky to me, it was just more about her origin (which I didn't know). definitely agree it's not classy to read snark blogs!
I love this monthly photo album idea! It feels like a manageable (and fun!) way to curate the overwhelming number of compounding photos on my phone, and a beautiful way to celebrate the month just lived. Thank you for the idea!

I definitely recommend it. I add photos to the album as the month goes by, so it doesn't feel too overwhelming!
